Food Delivery Driver Terms and Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms:
By registering as a food delivery driver with DKASH, you agree to abide by these terms and conditions. DKASH reserves the right to update or modify these terms at any time, and your continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

2. Eligibility:
To become a DKASH food delivery driver, you must meet the eligibility criteria set by DKASH. This includes possessing a valid driver's license and insurance and meeting any local regulatory requirements for food delivery services.

3. Independent Contractor Status:
You acknowledge that you are an independent contractor, not a DKASH employee. You are responsible for your taxes, insurance, and other statutory obligations. DKASH is not responsible for any liabilities incurred by the driver.

4. Vehicle Requirements:
You must have access to a reliable and properly insured vehicle to fulfil delivery orders. DKASH may specify vehicle requirements, and you agree to maintain your vehicle in good working condition.

5. Acceptance of Orders:
You have the right to accept or reject delivery requests based on your availability. However, once you accept a delivery, you are committed to fulfilling it within the specified time frame.

6. Delivery Standards:
As a DKASH food delivery driver, you agree to maintain high professionalism, punctuality, and customer service. Deliveries must be made promptly and in accordance with food safety standards.

7. Payment and Compensation:
Individual food providers such as restaurants or takeaways will outline compensation details, including delivery fees, bonuses, and any other forms of payment. Payment may be subject to taxes and fees as required by law.

8. Ratings and Reviews:
Customers may provide ratings and reviews for your service. DKASH reserves the right to use this feedback to evaluate your performance and may take appropriate action, including termination if performance standards are not met.

9. Confidentiality:
You agree to keep all customer information confidential and not to disclose any sensitive information obtained during deliveries. Violation of confidentiality may result in termination.

10. Code of Conduct:
You must adhere to a code of conduct that includes respectful and professional behaviour towards customers, merchants, and DKASH staff. Violations of the code of conduct may result in disciplinary action, including termination.

11. Termination:
DKASH reserves the right to terminate your contract as a food delivery driver at any time for violations of these terms, poor performance, or any other reason deemed appropriate by DKASH.

12. Amendments:
DKASH reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Drivers will be notified of any changes, and continued use of the platform implies acceptance of the updated terms.

13. Service Scope:
DKASH only provides an online service-based platform and is not responsible for providing any food.

14. Delivery Charges and Fees:
Food providers will pay you for any eligible delivery charges. DKASH is not responsible for providing you with any delivery fee.

15. Credit System:
By accepting a delivery request, you agree to pay one credit to DKASH from your account balance. The minimum credit in your account is £10.00, which will expire in 30 days. You are bound to spend your £10.00 credit within this period.
